Peter Spiegel is a serial entrepreneur who has founded numerous successful companies related to direct response advertising, marketing and consumer products.
In the advertising space, Mr. Spiegel was the founding partner of Direct Partners, which was acquired by NYSE conglomerate Omnicom. Mr. Spiegel also has founded several vertically integrated consumer products companies which have sold a variety of products direct to customers via infomercials and to big box retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, Sears, JC Penny's and others. Mr. Spiegel has been personally responsible for the development and sales of over $2 billion of innovative consumer products worldwide.
Mr. Spiegel is considered by his peers to be one of the definitive experts in the direct response television advertising (DRTV) and infomercials. A top marketing, financial, product development and operations strategist, he has been active in the industry for more than 23 years, developing a wealth of experience and success that spans all product categories and all channels of distribution including DRTV, retail, catalog, print and internet. Mr. Spiegel has been named one of the “Top 25 Most Influential People in the Direct Response Industry” by Response TV Magazine. Mr. Spiegel is an encyclopedia of television direct marketing knowledge, and he knows how to take an idea or an invention from concept to cash flow with speed and precision.
Mr. Spiegel is the founder of Envion, LLC, a home environment company that manufactures and distributes the best-selling brands of air purifiers including Ionic Pro® and Therapure® at Walmart, Costco, Bed Bath & Beyond and others leading retailers.
He also is the founder of a group of companies that sell products under the Ideal Living brand including the Paint Zoom™ painting system, 30 Second Smile™ electric toothbrush, Prosvent® nutritional supplement, Walkfit® orthotics, and Light Relief® FDA-cleared pain relief device.
Mr. Spiegel also previously founded companies that sold the following successful products: the AbSlide® ($250 million in worldwide sales), the Miracle Blade® III ($200 million in worldwide sales), the Ultimate Chopper™ ($150 million in worldwide sales), the Bun and Thigh Roller® ($50 million in worldwide sales), and the 4 in 1 Total Trolley® ($30 million in worldwide sales).
KATIE WILLIAMS- President of Direct Marketing
Katie Williams is one of the pioneers of the infomercial and home shopping industry and one of the foremost experts in Direct Response marketing, with 27 years of experience in international and domestic direct marketing.
Ms. Williams got her start by overseeing marketing for Beckley Group, the first infomercial leader. Realizing the power of infomercial marketing, Ms. Williams started her own DRTV ad agency, Williams Worldwide, Inc., in 1987. The agency was successful from the beginning, and became the leader in the television response industry.
Williams Worldwide bought DRTV media and created campaigns for an impressive roster of clients, including Philips Consumer Electronics, The Los Angeles Times, Hoover, Hanes, Warner Music, Quaker State, Microsoft, Citibank, QVC, Home Shopping Network, Toshiba, Goodtimes, Ronco, Nordic Track, and Visa.
The company was the recognized expert in all areas of DRTV – especially media and marketing. Soon after, Ms. Williams seized the opportunity of introducing and applying these techniques in foreign markets, where cross-border DRTV was non-existent. In 1992, Ms. Williams expanded her company globally and created Williams Worldwide Television (WWTV), an international direct response marketing company. WWTV was the first to air infomercials on some of the most powerful stations in Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Belgium, Ireland and other countries and forged long-standing relationships with retail powerhouses in all of these markets. For over 15 years now, WWTV has brought top products to the international arena.
In early 1999, Ms. Williams sold her domestic advertising company, Williams Worldwide, and retained the international company, Williams Worldwide Television until its sale in 2005.
From 2005 to 2010 Ms. Williams provided C-level consulting to senior management in the direct marketing industry. Since 2010, she has served as President of Direct Response Marketing for Ideal Living Management.
